You CAN Improve Your Mental Capacity — and Live a Productive, Vibrant Life!

When your mind is sharp, you can achieve anything you set out to do.

But what happens when you start forgetting things — or taking longer than usual to do the tasks that used to be easy?

It can be frustrating, to say the least! You may feel like that’s “just the way it is” because we “naturally lose our memory as we age.”

Yet — contrary to what you may have heard — your brain can improve, no matter what stage of life you’re in.

How? Through a concept that scientists call neuroplasticity, also called brain plasticity. This is the ability of your brain’s neural networks to change by reorganizing its structure and creating new neural pathways.

Here at BrainCare Carlsbad, we know about neuroplasticity — it’s our focus and our passion. Dr. Awodele and his team use a breakthrough treatment to improve your neuroplasticity and optimize your brain.

It’s called MeRT, or Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy. MeRT is non-invasive, drug-free, gentle, and effective. We have used this treatment to improve all manner of brain dysfunction, from depression and anxiety to traumatic brain injury and much more.

And it’s achieved some remarkable results in enhancing mental capacity, including improving focus, memory, and mood.*

“If we can positively affect injured or non-neurotypical brains, we may not be far from improving connections in healthy brains and enhancing intelligence in a generalized way.”

How MeRT Works to Improve Mental Capacity

MeRT is a drug-free, non-invasive treatment that uses a magnetic field to stimulate and balance brain function. Sophisticated imaging and diagnostics guide the MeRT treatment.

Specifically, we perform a qEEG (quantitative electroencephalogram), also called a brain map, and analyze it before starting the next part of the treatment.

This qEEG is key to the success of MeRT treatment. By mapping the brain, we can clearly see any imbalance in brainwave activity.

Then, with the results from our comprehensive diagnostic testing, we create a tailored treatment plan using TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation). By doing this, we can strengthen the neural connections in the brain.

MeRT treatment has shown a significant reduction in symptoms like brain fog, forgetfulness, memory issues, and more. * And these results can be long-lasting.

How Strengthening Neural Pathways can Improve Brain Function

The human brain contains approximately 100 billion neurons, which communicate through pathways in the brain. You may know these electrical oscillations as brain waves.

But what you may not know is that when you use certain pathways more frequently, they become stronger. Conversely, whenever internal or external forces disrupt regular brain activity, underused pathways become weaker.

Brain waves — and the patterns they generate — are what keep you mentally fit. And cognitive capacity can slowly degenerate, making you feel like you’re stuck in a no-win situation.

MeRT can strengthen these neural pathways, allowing for an improvement in your ability to think, concentrate, and perform at a level you may not have experienced in years.
